Medical Alert Reviews

Reviews & Comparisons to help find the best medical alert for you!

When you are searching for the best medical alert for dad and are deciding between a few good companies, think about their prices specific to the price plan you are interested in. Often you may see language like, “Your Medical Alert Service for as low as $27.99″… That doesn’t mean that all of their plans are $27.99! That means their most affordable plan is $27.99. So visit different companies’ Price Pages and ask yourself, does dad want to pay monthly, quarterly, or annually? From there compare the prices for different companies. Often these medical alert companies offer special features with different plans. Some even will only guarantee your price if you choose their annual plan. I’d encourage you not to get to lost in these added features. Choose how dad wants to pay and think about prices in a long term sense. Does it make sense to pay $3 more each month so that you can get an extra button with it? No! Might as well pay the one time fee to get an extra button with a more reasonably priced company!

Lastly, before signing up for an annual plan to save some money, make sure this best medical alert allows you to cancel at anytime and prorates unused months back to you! It would be a shame to lose half a year worth of money simply because dad could no longer use the service. Putting a good amount of effort into your initial medical alert comparisons will save dad money in the end.

We all have different expectations when it comes to the businesses that we deal with in our day to day life. Different businesses give different levels of customer service – and, to be honest, the industry that a company is in often reflects on how much they need to focus on customer service. The medical alert industry is a very unique industry since the majority of medical alert customers are elderly and need a little extra help here and there. A medical alert company caring about their customers can be shown in a lot of different ways. Maybe they keep their prices low so that all seniors can afford their service. Or maybe they follow up with each customer routinely to make sure they are testing and their medical alert is working properly. Also just a general kindness and smiling voice can go a long way in customer service! Hopefully you can find a company that provides all of these things! I’d like to encourage you to have high expectations of these medical alert companies. Find one that you feel will really help take care of mom, not just collect mom’s money every month. Even if mom doesn’t need top notch customer service now, she may need more and more help as she ages. Finding a company that understands and cares about their customers is really crucial for mom’s success!
